2009 Blood Drive Schedule Now Available

The Atlanta Metropolitan Area IBM Club, in partnership with the American Red Cross, sponsors blood drives throughout the year. Since 1996, the IBM Club has sponsored over 175 blood drives with the American Red Cross and collected over 7,000 pints of blood.

Appointments to donate can be made in advance and are recommended. Remember, you are eligible to donate every 56 days. IBM Club Blood Drives are scheduled at least 56 days apart at each location, so that you can donate at each blood drive at your location. If you have questions about donating blood, please call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or review the frequently asked questions about blood donation online at the American Red Cross Web site.

Sign Up to Donate Blood Online

Now you can sign up for the IBM Club drives ONLINE. After you've signed up, you will get a confirmation to the e-mail address that you provide (you can send to IBM or to your home personal email address) with all the drive information and your appointment time. You will also be reminded the day before the drive of your appointment time. You can schedule, change, and cancel your appointment all with a few clicks.

2. When prompted, enter:
   • Your e-mail address
   • Your date of birth
   • The Sponsor Code (see table below)

3. If you do not already have an online profile, you will prompted to create one.
4. After you create your profile, you can confirm the blood drive and select a time.
